Property Description

A unique and rare opportunity to acquire 2.73 acres of woodland named Stone Dyke Wood located in Chapeltown, South Yorkshire. The woodland lies on level and gently sloping ground offering access to diverse wildlife including foxes, badgers and birds plus a variety of trees including Beech, Ash and Birch along with majority of well established Oak trees. A stream runs along part of the West Boundary and we noted Stone Dry Wall in places along the boundary. We are advised there are no fencing liabilities. The site can be accessed via a path from Penistone Road ///paddocks.herbs.expectant. From there the site is about a 10 minute walk along the path. Access point for viewing (H): ///sharpen.baker.expensive. Prospective purchasers must not park outside the gate as it will block a right of way. There is the Grenocide Woods car park off Woodhead road - it takes a 15 minutes walk from here - ///levels.hands.nets. The site boundaries have been marked out with stakes with orange tips to assist interested parties and we advise inspecting the legal pack for more information. OS Map No: 110 SK 328 967.
